Vapi is a voice AI infrastructure layer built for phone calls. Eclatira is a single agent that also shows up as chat, live video, and live screen share on your own website, with no separate model bills to assemble.
Vapi lets you bring your own stack. It orchestrates the call: you pick the LLM (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Groq), the speech to text provider (Deepgram, Assembly AI), and the voice (11Labs, PlayHT), and Vapi wires them together and routes the call. You get maximum flexibility, but you assemble and pay for several vendors to get there.
Eclatira runs one native model that handles audio in and audio out directly. It manages the whole conversation itself, so you don't configure or bill separate STT and TTS providers.
Vapi handles phone and voice only. Eclatira's embeddable widget supports live video, screen share, and chat from the same agent.
The model is bundled, so you don't pick or pay for separate STT, LLM, and TTS vendors.
Build a REST tool once and every agent in your workspace can call it. Knowledge base documents work the same way.
Pick Twilio or Telnyx per agent, and switch providers per call. Telnyx also supports custom caller ID through CNAM.
In beta, an outbound agent listens for an IVR menu and presses the right digits to get through it. Vapi doesn't document this capability.
You can pick any languages and dialects, instead of one generic voice per language.
Within about 30 seconds of hangup, Eclatira sends a transcript, an AI summary, and sentiment analysis to your webhook, with no analytics add on to configure.
On Vapi, HIPAA compliance costs $2,000 a month and Zero Data Retention costs $1,000 a month, both on top of the plan. Eclatira doesn't meter compliance or data retention as separate paid extras.
